FEATURES OF MG LIGHTNING ARRESTER

Lightning arrester also known as Lightning isolater.It is essentially an air gap between an electric wire and ground that is used on electric power transmission and telecommunication systems to protect the systems' insulation and conductors from the damaging effects of lightning. A lightning arrester typically has a high-voltage terminal and a ground terminal. When a lightning surge travels along a power line to an arrester, the current is diverted through the arrester and, in most cases, to earth.
